the redWall Firewall WILL NEVER TURN INTO A COMMERCIAL PRODUCT like it's the case with other opensource products recently!
This is a personal promise!

the redWall Firewall is a free and open-source firewall distribution mainly maintained in hundreds of hours by a single passionate person in spare and private time. Please consider how much time you would have to spend, in order to maintain and enhance a distribution like the redWall Firewall, with the complexity and all the different components in play. Therefore we ask that if you find the distribution useful or are even doing business with it, to please consider donating to the project via paypal.

Consider that in the last years many commercial applications having the same purposes of the redWall Firewall has been created and to use them you have to pay a price!
